Q: MY CAR KEY IS LOST/STOLEN - WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you have lost your car keys or you think they may have been stolen, we can provide a faster & cheaper alternative to going to your main dealer. We can cut and programme replacement keys and remotes (for most makes and models) at the roadside, even for vehicles using the very lastest transponder chips. Using our mobile service has many advantages for you:

No need to tow the vehicle to the main dealer as we can cut and programme new keys at the roadside.
We aim to replace keys within 24 hours*. We have experienced that the main dealer can take up to 2 weeks to do this.
In most cases our service is cheaper than the main dealer!

For Your Peace of Mind: We can de-activate all existing keys & remotes from the vehicle's memory using the very latest in key coding technology!

* What We Will Need: We will need the 'security code' & 'key number' of the vehicle. This is normally supplied with the vehicle (on a credit card sized document) but if you don't have this, we can supply it (most makes & models) at a cost of £25 plus VAT. This saves you the inconvenience of taking all your log book information to the main dealer. For some vehicles, we will also need the Chassis/Vin Number (on your V5 log book, MOT certificate or on the bottom of the windscreen)

We are able to help with most makes and models - we recommend that you call us to check your vehicle model from the manufacturers below. Some vehicles require a main dealer key (no after market keys can be used on these types of vehicles). In some cases, we can get these for you.

Q: WHY SHOULD I USE AN AUTO LOCKSMITH INSTEAD OF THE MAIN DEALER?

Our mobile service is a time saving alternative to going to your main dealer! If you were to buy from the main dealer you would need to take your V5 log book and 2 forms of ID to them to order the key - once the key arrives, (we have heard some situations where it can take up to 2 weeks) you will need to leave the car there while they carry out the work.
